Women's Necklace in Sciacca Coral with Small Cupolini Clusters

This necklace is an homage to the Sicilian sea. Crafted from Sciacca coral from the Mediterranean, each cluster is composed of cupolini with a soft, irregular shape, typical of the Corallium rubrum fished in our waters. The weight of 70 grams and length of 80 cm make it a substantial piece, to be worn effortlessly over necklines or atop a sweater.

The colour ranges from deep red to rosy orange, with highlights that shift in the light – a hallmark of natural, undyed coral. Each cupolino is hand-polished to enhance the velvety surface characteristic of this variety. The necklace consists of two clusters, each with small cupolini that alternate harmoniously.

A Mediterranean Treasure

Sciacca coral comes from the seabed of the Sicily Channel, a historic fishing area. This piece of jewellery tells that tradition: Sciacca coral is renowned for its warm hues and density. Wearing this necklace means carrying a piece of Sicily with you.

How to Wear It

The 80 cm length falls below the bust, ideal over closed shirts or décolleté dresses. The two clusters move freely, creating a play of volume. Perfect on its own, but also paired with other <a href="our collection of necklaces">coral jewellery for a richer look.

Each necklace is handcrafted in our workshop in Sciacca, with the care only an artisan can provide. Coral is a living material: it changes with wear, gaining depth of hue. Over time, it becomes even more personal.
