This Sciacca coral necklace is a true piece of Sicilian craftsmanship. Made with five strands of carefully selected Mediterranean Corallium rubrum barrel beads, matched for colour and shape, it is completed with a natural coral branch supported by 18kt yellow gold (750) elements. The knot-strung design gives movement and enhances each bead.
The necklace measures approximately 70 cm in length, with a total weight of around 165 grams (145g for the necklace portion, 20g for the branch). The barrel beads vary in size, typical of handcrafting. The coral comes from the Mediterranean Sea, the traditional fishing area of Sciacca. The branch mounts are in 750 yellow gold, which enhances the warm red colour of the coral.
