This Sciacca coral and turquoise necklace is a piece that tells the story of Sicilian goldsmithing tradition. Handcrafted in the workshops of Patricia Oro Creations, it is composed of three intertwined strands of rough Mediterranean coral (Corallium rubrum) cupolini and small turquoise beads – a colour combination that evokes the sea and land of Sicily.
At the centre, a pendant carved from coral root, left semi-rough to enhance its organic texture. The length of approximately 60 cm makes it versatile, suitable both for open necklines and over a sweater. At 150 g, it has a substantial presence without being overwhelming.
Sciacca coral is renowned for its intense colour, and the rough cupolino cut accentuates the natural veining. Every component is hand-selected, and the 925 silver clasp ensures practicality and durability.
The three strands are assembled with artisanal skill: the coral cupolini are interspersed with small turquoise beads, creating a captivating visual rhythm. The central pendant is secured with a handmade knot, and the chain fastens with a silver lobster clasp. Each piece is unique, numbered and signed.
