The Sciacca Coral faceted barrel necklace for women is a piece that evokes the sea of Sicily. The corals, harvested from the Mediterranean, were individually selected and handcrafted to create a gradation of barrel beads from approximately 3x4 mm to 10x11 mm. The hand-knotted threading ensures fluid movement and a soft feel against the skin.
Sciacca coral is renowned for its warm hues ranging from red to orange. Each barrel is faceted to capture light and enhance the natural colour. The 73 beads, threaded on a sturdy cord, form a total length of approximately 54 cm, ideal for wearing alone or layered.
The clasp is in 18k gold, a precious detail that contrasts with the organic coral. The total weight of 32.6 grams gives a feeling of substance without being overwhelming.
