The faceted barrel bead necklace in natural Mediterranean coral is a piece of jewellery that tells the story of Italian goldsmithing tradition and the beauty of the sea. Made with 73 corals of Corallium rubrum fished in the Mediterranean Sea, each barrel is hand-faceted and features a colour gradation ranging from bright red to deep pink, with dimensions varying from approximately 4x4 mm to 10x12 mm.
The clasp is in 18kt gold, while the stringing is done with knots (traditionally in silk) separating each barrel, ensuring strength and a soft movement on the skin. The total length is approximately 73 cm, a long strand that can be worn elegantly, suitable for décolletés or as a multi-strand.
