This 3-strand necklace in Sciacca coral with carving is an explosion of colours and history. The coral comes from the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, fished off the coast of Sicily, where master goldsmiths have transformed it into works of art for centuries. Each small scale, of varying shape and size, is strung on simple gold supports, creating a light and natural movement.
At the centre, a side carving depicting a floral motif, hand-worked with chisels and burins, adds a timeless touch of elegance. The total weight of 110 grams for the necklace and 25 grams for the carving gives it a significant yet not excessive presence.
