The coral used comes from the Mediterranean Sea, harvested in the waters around Sciacca, Sicily. It is Sciacca coral of the Corallium rubrum type, known for its intense red colour and hardness. The beads are crafted in a cabochon shape, a form that enhances the natural brilliance of the raw material.
The necklace weighs a total of 79.02 grams, of which 5.40 grams for the central stone alone. The length is 50 cm, a classic size that suits various necklines. The stone, placed at the centre, becomes the focal point of the piece.
